Martiale lives in Tahiti for years and her paintings are well known in Papeete.

She is born in 1956 and paints since she was a child.

After a few years working as a book illustrator, she starts exposing her work in 1981 with other painters. She exposed regularly in Paris at the well known Salon des Artistes Independants and the Salon d'Automne, artistic events in Paris from 1983 to 1987.

Since 1988, her work has been exposed in various places : Montauban, Béziers, Lisbonne, and now Tahiti where she lives.
